Youth’s Role Pivotal to Advance Indonesia, Cabinet Secretary Says

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has encouraged the youth to play a role in advancing and building the nation.

“The Government expects the youth to always play a significant role in advancing and building the nation,” Pramono said on the commemoration of the 2022 Youth Pledge Day, Friday (10/28).

According to him, the progress of a nation is strongly influenced by and depends on the youth.

“Youth is the heart, the pulse of the nation’s progress, and also the nation’s civilization,” he said, adding that Indonesian youth has a pivotal role and an extraordinary contribution to the progress of the nation.

In line with this year’s Youth Pledge Day under the theme “United to Build the Nation”, Pramono also invited all parties to prioritize the role of youth in building the nation.

“Happy Youth Pledge Day to all Indonesian youth, the pride of the nation! Let’s unite and make youth the determinants of the nation’s future direction,” he said.  (MAY/RF/UN) (EST/MMB)
