President Jokowi Encourages University Students to Develop Entrepreneurial Skills

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (11/29) encouraged university students in Surabaya Nusantara Students Dormitory (AMN) to develop entrepreneurial skills besides their academic skills.

For the record, Surabaya Nusantara Students Dormitory (AMN) is a dormitory for students to unite and develop their skills through several facilities regardless their ethnic groups, religions, and universities. The dormitory provides entrepreneurship training activities, such as haircut, screen printing on shirts, fish farming using biofloc technology, Noken (Papuan traditional knotted net or woven bag) making, and selling food and beverages produced by students living in the dormitory.

The President paid close attention to every entrepreneurship activities demonstrated by the students. He reminded the students who are selling food and beverages to take into account good packaging because first impression of their products can attract buyers.
