Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia at Inauguration of Permanent House in Tambe Village, Bolo District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province, December 29, 2022

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We know that in 2020, West Nusa Tenggara province was hit by Seroja cyclone. The flash floods affected many houses. The Government built permanent housing for the victims, which is located in a new location far from the riverbank. The construction of 185 houses in Bima regency and 107 houses in Dompu regency has been completed. Everything has been completed and the Government also handed over the certificate of the house.

We hope that these houses will become a beautiful housing compound. It looks definitely better than the old ones. It is also equipped with various public facilities, such as mosque.

By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I officially inaugurate permanent housing for the Seroja cyclone victims.
