Following the opening of the National Coordination Meeting of Regional Heads and the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) from all over Indonesia at Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor regency, West Java, Tuesday (17/1/2023), President Jokowi attended a panel session discussing measures to boost investment, downstreaming, and facilitating business licensing.

Several Cabinet Ministers also became speakers during the session and presented relevant topics of discussion.

The Ministers who joined the panelist include Minister of Public Works and Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms (PAN-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, and Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/ The National Land Agency Hadi Tjahjanto.

Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Minister of Investment/Chairperson of the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia joined the session online via video conferencing.

After the panel session, President Jokowi also had lunch with the Ministers and the Governors at Hall C, SICC.  During lunch, President Jokowi conversed with the Governors while enjoying the food served.

Afterwards, the President walked to Hall B, where he friendly greeted regents and mayors.

At 13.15 WIB, President Jokowi headed back to the Presidential Palace for the next scheduled activities. (BPMI SETPRES/AIT) (RY/EP)
