President Jokowi to Inaugurate Semarang-Demak Toll Road

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Saturday (02/5) around 08.40 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) arrived at Ahmad Yani Army Main Air Base in Semarang city, Central Java province.

Upon arrival at the air base, President Jokowi and First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi were welcomed by Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and spouse, Military command (Pangdam) of IV/Diponegoro Widi Prasetijono and spouse, Central Java Regional Police Chief Ahmad Luthfi, and Commander of Ahmad Yani Army Main Air Base (Danlanumad) Lieutenant Colonel Ihwan Okti Riyadi.

In his working visit, the President was slated to visit Demak regency to inaugurate the Semarang-Demak Toll Road, Sayung-Demak section.

Previously, the President and his entourage including Minister of State Secretary took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, at around 07.55 a.m. WIB on board Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1 to Central Java province. (BPMI SETPRES/UN) (KA/MUR)
