President Jokowi Kicks Off C. Java Working Visit
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo kicked off working visit in Central Java on Thursday (03/09).
President Jokowi arrived at Yogyakarta International Airport, Kulon Progo regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 08.00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
Upon arrival, the President was greeted by Governor of Special Region of Yogyakarta Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono and spouse, Military Commander (Pangdam) of IV/Diponegoro Widi Prasetijono and spouse, Special Region of Yogyakarta Police Chief Suwondo Nainggolan and spouse, also Commander of Adi Sutjipto Army Military Air Base (Danlanud) First Marshal (Marsma) Dedy Susanto and spouse.
Afterward, the President headed to Lajer village, in Ambal district, Kebumen regency, to observe rice harvest.
Furthermore, the President visited Plesung village, Karangrejo, Petanahan district, Kebumen regency to inaugurate an Area-Based Shrimp Farming Pond (BUBK).
President Jokowi is also scheduled to visit Petanahan Tradional Market to hand over social assistance to market traders.
Afterwards, the President will return to Yogyakarta International Airport then took off to Adi Soemarmo Air Force Base in Boyolali Regency to continue the agenda in the next day.
Previously, President Jokowi and the entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 07.00 a.m WIB. (BPMI SETPRES/UN) (HS/ RAS)
