President Jokowi in Bogor City to Distribute Food Assistance
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Friday (04/14) handed out staple food package assistance, cash assistance, and Eid hampers to the community on Otto Iskandardinata (Otista) street, Bogor city, West Java province.
Upon his arrival at around 13.30 Western Indonesia Time, President Jokowi immediately greeted people queuing to get the food packages on the road behind a food carrier truck.
One of local residents, Eno Hapsah, expressed her appreciation for the assistance provided by the President.
“Thank you, Mr. President. Alhamdulillah, thank God, I am so glad to receive the assistance because I am less fortunate, and unemployed due to my old age and poor health. I will use the cash assistance to buy food for iftar,” she said.
Rohanah, another local resident, also expressed her gratitude for the assistance.
“Alhamdulillah, this is the first time I received the assistance. I am so happy. Thank you very much, Mr. President. I wish you good health and good fortune,” Rohanah said.
Echoing the same sentiment, another local resident Fitri conveyed her gratitude to the President.
“I received food and cash assistance. We are so happy, many thanks, Mr. President. I wish you and your family good health,” she said.
