Directives of President of the Republic of Indonesia at the Send-off Ceremony of the Indonesian Contingent for the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia, May 2, 2023

Greetings of virtue.

Honorable Minister of Youth and Sports and the attending Coordinating Ministers, Ministers;
Honorable Chairperson of KONI (the Indonesian National Sports Committee), Chairperson of KOI (the Indonesian National Olympic Committee), and CdM (the Chef de Mission);
Honorable athletes, officials, and all supporters;
Ladies and gentlemen.

Today, I would like to dispatch the 32^nd SEA Games contingent to Cambodia. We are sending 599 athletes who will compete in 31 sports.

I would only say that at the SEA Games in Vietnam, we won 69 gold medals and ranked 3^rd. Now, we should do better than that.

I would like the number of gold medals to be over 69, and the ranking to be higher than 3^rd. There are only two choices, the 1^st or 2^nd place. This is not an easy target, not an easy target, but I can see that all athletes who are present here and who have departed certainly have sufficient preparation for the competition, to compete in Cambodia.

By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I officially dispatch the 32^nd SEA Games contingent to Cambodia.
