President Jokowi Inspects Food Prices at Cihapit Traditional Market

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wedneday (07/12) visited Cihapit traditional market in Bandung city to inspect the prices of a number of food commodities.

The President also distributed a number of social assistances to traders at the market.

Rizal, an shallot trader at Cihapit Market, said that the Head of State asked about the current price of onions. Rizal said that the price of onions is currently increasing in the range of IDR 45,000 to IDR 50,000 per kilogram.

During the visit, President Jokowi, accompanied by Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, also stopped by at one legendary food stall that has been operating since 1947 at the market. He also gave social assistance to the owner of the food stall. (BPMI/UN) (EST/LW)
