President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo meets Board of Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PB PMII) at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (07/25). In the meeting, the board conveyed a number of issues, among others, the academic study on Nusantara Capital (IKN).

“We have conveyed the result of PB PMII’s study on IKN. We wrote a 350-page academic journal, proving that today’s activists can contribute to the development of the country in the future,” Chair of the Board Muhammad Abdullah Syukri said in his press statement at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, after the meeting.

Furthermore, PB PMII also conveyed a number of issues related to 2024 General Election. According to Chair of the Board, PMII focuses on how to educate young voters on the democracy festival through various activities in organizations at many levels.

“PMII organizations, from bottom to top levels, hold thousands of forums, such as seminar, workshop, and so on, to educate young voters, because we are going to have a general election in which more than 50 percent of the voters are young voters,” he explained.
