President Jokowi Arrives in Mozambique
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo continued his state visits in the African Continent to Maputo in the Republic of Mozambique on Tuesday (08/22).
The President arrived at Maputo International Airport at around 17.00 local time or 22.00 western Indonesian time.
Welcoming the President were Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy of Mozambique Carlos Joaquim Zacarias, State Secretary of Maputo Manuel Vicente, Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of Mozambique and the Republic of Malawi Herry Sudrajat and his spouse, Indonesian Defense Attaché in Pretoria Col. Mar. Burhanudin, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Manuel Jose Goncalves and Mozambican Ambassador to Indonesia Belmiro Jose Malate, and Governor of Maputo province Iolanda Cintura.
From the airport, the President directly went to the hotel where he will be staying during his time in Mozambique.
Previously, President Jokowi also paid a visit to Tanzania and took off from Julius Nyere International Airport in Dar Es Salaam city, United Republic of Tanzania.
Accompanying the President during his flight to Maputo were Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung. (BPMI President Secretariat/AIT) (SI/DH)
