Hani Pramono Anung Supports Women Entrepreneurship Development at Cabinet Secretariat
Advisor of Cabinet Secretariat’s women’s association (DWP) showed support for women entrepreneurship development at Cabinet Secretariat, especially in the field of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
It is stated by Hani when giving remarks on a talk show about women entrepreneurship with theme “Women’s Entrepreneurship: Where to Start?”
Hani emphasized that UMKM actors have significant roles in stimulating economic growth. She quoted the data from Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises in 2022 showing that 64 billion UMKM contributed 60 percent to the GDP, and 64 percent of the UMKM actors were women.
In detail, the data of Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) in 2022 showed that women contributed as business actors were 34 percent for medium business, 50.6 percent for small business and 52.9 percent for micro business.
On that occasion, the DWP Advisor also expressed appreciation to DWP’s members and the Civil Apparatus at Cabinet Secretariat who have the courage and persistence to start business.
The speakers of the event were Head of Division of Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises Authority of Jakarta Province Adhitya Pratama Yudha Saputra discussing topic on supporting and training MSMEs, Standard Credit Account Officer of state-owned bank BNI Edo Bagus Herkusuma talked about MSMEs funding, and Diana Aletheia Balienda from Google Gapura Digital & Women Will discussing digital marketing strategies.
Also attending the event were, Endang Budi Karya Sumadi, Chair of Ministry of Transportation’s DWP Wahyu Novie Riyanto, Special Staff to the Vice President Zumrotul Mukaffa, Advisor to the Ministry of State Secretariat, Sari Harjanti, Chair of Central DWP’s Economic Division Tini Warif, Chair of Cabinet Secretariat’s DWP Kartini R. Yuli Harsono, and Vice-Chair of Cabinet Secretariat’s DWP Dessy Fadlansyah Lubis.
Cabinet Secretariat’s MSMEs Bazaar
The event also launched Catalogues of 30 Women Cabinet Secretariat’s MSMEs. After the launching, the DWP Advisor was accompanied by Chair of Cabinet Secretariat’s DWP and Vice-Chair of Cabinet Secretariat’s DWP visited Cabinet Secretariat’s MSMEs bazaar which was held at the lobby of Building III, Ministry of State Secretariat. The products sold in the bazaar were, among others, foods and beverages, fashion, books, herbal medicines and handicrafts.
“I hope the quality can be maintained and perhaps it will be improved in the future, and hopefully, the employees will also purchase the products, so we provide their needs,” Hani said.
Hani also expressed hope that Cabinet Secretariat’s DWP and other related parties can give assistance to Cabinet Secretariat’s MSMEs actors so their business can grow. (TGH/UN) (SS/AW)
