Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Good morning,
May prosperity be upon us all.

Honorable Speakers and Chairpersons of State Institutions, Ministers in attendance, Governor of Jakarta and Vice Governor of West Java, Distinguished Members of the Solidarity Act Organization of the Onward Indonesia Cabinet Era (OASE KIM),

Ladies and Gentleman,

We are aware that Jakarta has always been in the world’s top 10 most congested cities. We have always been on the world’s top 10 most congested cities. Every day, as many as 996 thousand vehicles enter Jakarta. Every day. Therefore, congestions and pollution are also a common problem in Jakarta.

To that end, we provide MRT (Mass Rapid Transit), LRT (Light Rail Transit), KRL (Commuter Line), BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), Airport Train so that our residents switch from private transportation to mass transportation. Indeed, it is not easy. For example, MRT, even though I notice that every day it is always full. The capacity that we want is 180,000 passengers, and today it is still 80,000. There is still capacity which has not been fully filled.

And today, alhamdullilah, LRT also have been ready to be operated from Harjamukti [Station], Cibubur subdistrict and from Bekasi city to Jakarta spanning 41.2 km and it has used a budget of Rp32.6 trillion.

We hope that residents can have the enthusiasm to use LRT – those who are from Cibubur subdistrict and its surrounding areas and Bekasi city and its surrounding areas – so the congestions can be avoided and pollution is also decreasing.

By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, today I hereby inaugurate Greater Jakarta-Integrated LRT for Jakarta, Bogor city, Depok city and Bekasi city.

I thank you.

Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
