Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia during Inauguration of Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road, Bengkulu Province, July 20, 2023

May prosperity be upon us all.

Distinguished Minister of Public Works and Public Housing, Minister of State Secretary;
Distinguished Governor of Bengkulu along with Mayor and Regent of Bengkulu;
Ladies and Gentlemen,
My beloved children.

Good morning.
Alhamdulillah, this morning Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung toll road will start operating to facilitate logistics mobility, people’s mobility, and create new economic growth centers. The toll road has a total length of 16.7 kilometers with a budget allocation of Rp4.8 trillion. The toll road is part of Bengkulu-Lubuklinggau section.

We hope, once again, the completion of the toll road will boost economic growth, speed up the mobility of people and goods, and bring prosperity to our people because Bengkulu’s competitiveness will certainly improve

That concludes my remarks. By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this morning I hereby inaugurate Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung toll road in Bengkulu city, Bengkulu province.
