President Jokowi to Hold Several Bilateral Meetings in China

Presiden Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (10/17) is scheduled to attend several bilateral meetings during his second day of working visit in Beijing, capital of People’s Republic of China (PRC).

Starting the agenda, President Jokowi is slated to hold a bilateral meeting with Premier Li Qiang at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. After the meeting, the President will head to Tiananmen Square to lay a flower tribute at the Monument to the People’s Heroes and subsequently hold a bilateral meeting with President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Afterwards, the President will have a bilateral meeting with President of PRC Xi Jinping. The meeting, which will be held at the Great Hall of the People, will start with an official welcoming ceremony.

In the evening, the President and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo is scheduled to attend a banquet with other state leaders who will also be present at the 3rd Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation, held at the Great Hall of the People.
