Upon Arriving at the White House, President Jokowi Welcomed by President Biden

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo arrived at the White House, Washington DC, USA, on Monday (11/13) at around 16.20 (local time) or Tuesday (11/14) at 04.20 Western Indonesian Time.

As the car carrying President Jokowi entered the White House, the US Army lined up in a row while carrying the flags of 50 States of the USA and welcomed him.

Before the West Wing Portico, President Jokowi left the car and was warmly welcomed by President of the USA Joe Biden.

Afterwards, the two heads of state were walking towards the office of President Biden at the White House called as the Oval Office. Both leaders then were having a limited meeting.

Following the limited meeting, both Presidents and their respective delegations were having a bilateral meeting.

Accompanying President Jokowi during his visit to the White House were Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, ad interim Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Erick Thohir, Minister for Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister for Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Nadiem Makarim, Minister for Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister for Trade Zulkifli Hasan, Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif, and Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the USA Rosan Roeslani.
