President Jokowi Inspects Progress of Presidential Palace, Office Construction in New Capital

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Thursday (12/21) inspected the construction progress of the Presidential Palace compound and Office in new capital Nusantara, North Penajam Paser regency, East Kalimantan province.

At the construction site, the President ensured that the facilities and design of the Presidential Office and Palace align with the concept, including the strips of the Garuda that will be the icon of the Presidential Palace in Nusantara.

From the Presidential Office construction site, President Jokowi carried on with his working visit agenda, namely to lead the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of several facilities, including BSH Community Hub and the Pakubuwono Nusantara apartment.

The President is also slated to lead the groundbreaking ceremony of defense and security infrastructure, namely Military District Command A of Nusantara Capital and Special Resort Police of Nusantara Capital.

In the afternoon, the President is set to visit a market in North Penajam Paser regency to check local prices and then finally return to Jakarta. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (DH/MUR)
