Gov’t Announces 2024 CASN Recruitment

The Government offers job opportunities for Indonesian young talents by opening recruitments of state civil apparatus candidates (CASN) for 2.3 million formations this year.

“The formations will be allocated for teachers and lecturers, health workers, and technical personnel as needed,” the President said on Friday (01/05).

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo stated that the Government provides opportunities for fresh graduates by opening 690,000 state civil servant candidate (CPNS) formations in 2024. “The distribution includes 207,000 and 483,000 formations for central institutions and regional institutions, respectively,” the President said.

In addition, the Government will also resolve the management of non-state civil apparatus by opening recruitment of 1.6 million formations for those who have not been appointed as government employees with work agreements (PPPK).

This recruitment is held as part of the Government’s effort to deal with rapid technological disruption. The Government needs skilled young learners from various disciplines to support digital-based public services, boost bureaucratic efficiency, and encourage improved performance as well as improve government accountability.
