President Jokowi Shows Appreciation for Vietnamese Government’s Warm Welcome

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo began the third day of his working visit in Vietnam by having breakfast with the Prime Minister of Vietnam Phạm Minh Chính at Melia Hotel, Hanoi, Saturday (01/13). Both state leaders had a friendly conversation while enjoying their breakfast.

At the occasion, President Jokowi expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome extended by the Vietnamese Government during his working visit, including the moment when he attended a dinner hosted by the President of Vietnam Võ Văn Thưởng yesterday (01/12).

“This shows the close relations between both countries, and a promising cooperation in the future,” he said.

Therefore, President Jokowi expressed hope that Indonesia and Vietnam can continue to establish communication in order to strengthen the relations of both countries. “We should continue to improve communication (of both countries),” he further said.
