President Jokowi Inaugurates Nine KPPU Members
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Thursday (01/18) inaugurated nine members of the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) at the State Palace, Jakarta.
The inauguration is based on Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia (Keppres) Number 8/P of 2024 on the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU).
The Presidential Decree, which was issued in Jakarta and signed by President Jokowi on January 8, 2024, was read by the Deputy for Apparatus Administration, Ministry of State Secretariat, Nanik Purwanti.
The nine KPPU members for the 2024-2029 period are as follows:
- Fanshurullah Asa;
- Aru Armando;
- Rhido Jusmadi;
- Gopprera Panggabean;
- Hilman Pujana;
- Moh. Noor Rofieq;
- Mohammad Reza;
- Dr. Eugenia Mardanugraha; and
- Budi Joyo Santoso.
“In the name of Allah, I promise that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all statutory regulations as straight as possible for my service to the nation and state; In carrying out my duties, I will uphold office ethics, work to the best of my ability and with full of responsibility,” said the President followed by the members when taking the oath of office.
After taking the oath of office, the KPPU members took turns signing the inauguration minutes. The ceremony closed with the playing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya. (TGH/AIT) (EST/MUR)
