Remarks of President of the Republic of Indonesia During the Groundbreaking Ceremony of The Pakubuwono Nusantara in Nusantara Capital City (IKN), North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, December 21, 2023

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

Good morning,

May prosperity be upon us all,

Distinguished Ministers, Chief of the Indonesian National Defense Force, Chief of the Indonesian Police, Head of Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Authority,

Distinguished Governor of East Kalimantan, and North Penajam Paser Regent;

Distinguished President Director and Commissioner of PT Pakubuwono Mandiri Investama, especially President Director Bapak Artur Batubara,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today, I feel very happy because the construction initiated by PT Pakubuwono in IKN will start. Why am I happy? Because this is a construction of classy apartment, as far as I know.

IKN is built with a green concept, green environment, and the building should be green building. If we took a brief look, the plan to build The Pakubuwono Nusantara is appropriate with the concept of Nusantara Capital.

I asked Pak Ridwan Kamil about the visualization of The Pakubuwono Nusantara, “any correction, Kang Emil?” He said, “nothing. The score is nine.”

I think the score is, since I was not an architect, ten. This so brilliant. This will trigger other developers to follow the green concept prepared by The Pakubuwono Nusantara.

Two towers of monumental apartment with an investment approximately Rp1 trillion will be built immediately, and it will be environmentally-friendly apartments with international standard, really   environmentally-friendly, and it will use current technology to give comfort and efficiency, and it will present an advancement and innovation.

That concludes my remarks. I believe the experience and reputation of The Pakubuwono will give significant contribution for the development of IKN in the future.
