Solemn, the Ceremony of the Moment of 70th Proclamation Independence of RI at the Palace
President Jokowi handed the red and white flag to a member Paskibraka, in the ceremony of Commemoration the 70th Proclamation of Independence of RI, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday (17/8)
The ceremony commemorating the 70th Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia led by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), at Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Monday (17/8), takes place solemnly.
Besides attended by First Lady Iriana, Vice President Jusuf Kalla and Mrs. Mufidah Jusuf Kalla, the ceremony was also attended by former President Megawati Sukarnoputri, Shinta Abdurrahman Wahid (wife of former President KH. Abdurrahman Wahid); a former Vice President, namely: Try Sutrisno, Hamzah Has, Boediono; Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly Zulkifli Hasan; Work Cabinet Ministers; and also the ambassadors of friendly countries. There were also people who live around the Presidential Palace.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Setya Novanto on that occasion reads Proclamation Script, while the Minister of Religion Lukman Hakim Saifuddin as readers prayer.
The ceremony commander is Marine Colonel Umar Farouq. Meanwhile, Commander of Paskibraka is Adjunct Commissioner of Police Arthur Sameaputty who is now serving as chief operating section Korbrimob Police Force Bomb Squad.
The carrier tray of flag on the ceremony of Proclamation Commemoration is Maria Felicia Gunawan (Cia), a student of SMAK Penabur Gading Serpong, Banten. Meanwhile, Aziz Zainal, a student of SMAN 1 Payakumbuh trusted as the spreader of flag, and Razak from Central Sulawesi and Briand F Pelle from Papua served as the winches red and white flag.
In the ceremony also featured attractions of flying fighter F-16 and T-5 by the Air Force, as well as the choir of Gita Bahana Nusantara. (*/ES)
