Open the Sail Tomini 2015, President Jokowi asks, the marketing Should be More Intense

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), accompanied by First Lady Iriana and the fifth President of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri, attended the Summit of the Tomini Sail 2015 in Bura Wood Beach, Pangi village, Central Parigi district, Central Sulawesi, Saturday (20/9).

President Jokowi in his speech said the organizing of Sail very well. However, the President noted that the implementation of Sail has entered the seventh year, it needs a good marketing.

“Should have been 1-2 years earlier, so that everyone know, all the tourists know,” President Jokowi said.

With better marketing, both through national and international media as well as social media, President Jokowi believes that millions of people would know this Sail implementation.

The President also reminded the importance of follow-up after the implementation of Sail Tomini 2015, so as not to directly silent and than disappears.

“Maybe an event can be held weekly or every year,” President Jokowi said.

Related local traditional dances presented in the opening Tomini Sail 2015, President Jokowi admitted much admired. However, if the choreographer and conductor support the show, the President believes that dance presentation will be perfect.

“If necessary, this kind of event held at night to make it more visible lighting and stage management,” Jokowi said.

Present at the opening of the 2015 Sail Tomini among others Chairman of DPD Irman Gusman, Coordinating Minister of PMK Puan Maharani, Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Resource Rizal Ramli, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti, Minister of Tourism Arief Yahya, and Minister of Education Anies Baswedan.
