To be Announced Soon, President Jokowi: Fuel Prices Still in Calculation Process

President Jokowi accompanied by several ministers delivered a press statement, after launching Intensive Investment Program, in Balaraja, Banten, on Monday (5/10) afternoon

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that the price of fuel (BBM), especially Premium and Diesel, as well as for electricity tariffs, are still in calculation process.

President Jokowi rectifying a number of media reports stated that he requested fuel prices and electricity tariffs lowered. “Yesterday, I did not ask to lower the fuel price, I asked to recalculate, with all efficiency,” said President Jokowi when launching “Intensive Investment For Indonesian Manpower Absorption” program, at PT Adis Dimension Footwear, in West Balaraja, Tangerang, Banten, Monday (5/10) afternoon.

President Jokowi reminded the media not to precede something undecided proceeds.

When the President asked when the new fuel prices will be announced, President Jokowi who was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for the Economy Darmin Nasution, Presidential Chief of Staff Teten Masduki, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Head of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Franky Sibarani, Minister of Industry Saleh Husni, and Minister of Manpower Hanif Dakhiri said, it will be announced as soon as possible within this week.
