Assalamualaikum warramatullaahi wabarakatuh,
At todays limited meeting, we are going to discuss measures to accelerate the distribution of the Healthy Indonesia Card (KIS), the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP), and the Family Welfare Card (KKP).
This is an important measure because amidst the slowdown of global and national economy, the Government needs to provide social protection to the people, especially the vulnerable, so that they have good resilience to the (impacts) of the economic slowdown.
For the Healthy Indonesia Card, our target is to distribute 88.2 million cards and I will ask for the reports on the number of cards that have been verified and validated and the number of cards that have been distributed.
For the Smart Indonesia Card, our target is to distribute 20.3 million cards and I will also ask for the reports on the number of cards that have been verified, validated and distributed.
I also ask the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture to continue coordinating (with certain ministries/institutions) so verification and validation of these three programs could be accelerated and integrated, so those who receive them are those who really deserve to receive them.
