Bismillahirrahmanirrahim,
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Good morning, may prosperity be upon us all,
Ministers of Working Cabinet,
Chief de Mission, Chairman of the Delegation, athletes, trainers and officials,
Ladies and gentlemen,
In a short time, you will head to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to represent Indonesia in the 29th SEA Games. Remember that you will represent Indonesia, the country that has been the overall champion in SEA Games for ten times. Please, keep that in mind.
The country with the largest population in Southeast Asia, 250 million inhabitants, that support you to make your country proud.
When you fall, 250 million people of Indonesia will cry and when you rise up, 250 million people of Indonesia will be cheered up, because they feel the victory of Indonesia.
One more important thing rather than winning medals in SEA Games is you show the world that our nation is a tough nation, a competitive nation, a nation with a winning mentality, that upholds fair play and discipline.
Be the source of inspiration, source of optimism for all the people of Indonesia who will witness your struggle.
Lastly, I wish you good luck and make Indonesia proud, make the country proud, make the people proud. From the homeland, I’m waiting for the song Indonesia Raya to reverberate the 29th SEA Games and the red and white flag fluttering proudly representing the pride of the Indonesian nation.
Thank you. Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. (PR, Cabinet Secretariat) (RL/AW/YM/Naster)
