After Moscow Talks, President Prabowo Subianto Heads to France to Advance Strategic Cooperation

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that President Prabowo Subianto continued his series of strategic diplomatic visits to Europe with a visit to France. The President arrived in Paris, France, on Sunday (04/13) at 23.50 local time, following his intensive meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin.
“After a five-hour meeting with President Putin at the Kremlin Palace, President Prabowo Subianto departed for France on a flight time of approximately three and a half hours and arrived in Paris around midnight,” the Cabinet Secretary said.
According to the Cabinet Secretary, the lengthy duration of the meeting [with President Putin] reflected the depth of the discussions and the seriousness of Indonesia and Russia in strengthening their strategic partnership, particularly in the energy, mineral resources, and development of the national industry sectors.
Upon arriving in Paris, President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to continue his strategic diplomatic agenda with a tête-à-tête with President of France, Emmanuel Macron, at the Élysée Palace.
“Tomorrow, President Prabowo Subianto will have a tête-à-tête with President Macron at the Élysée Palace to discuss the enhancement of strategic cooperation between the two countries,” stated the Cabinet Secretary.
The Cabinet Secretary also emphasized that the meeting would not only focus on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries but also serves as an important opportunity for Indonesia to convey its strategic perspectives on the evolving global dynamics.
“In the meeting, in addition to discussing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations with the Government of France, President Prabowo Subianto will also convey Indonesia’s position in maintaining stability and promoting world peace,” concluded the Cabinet Secretary.
