Following the summons of Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo by the Attorney General’s Office regarding the base transceiver station (BTS) graft case at Ministry of Communication and Informatics, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has urged related parties to respect the ongoing legal process.

“The important thing is to respect all legal processes,” President Jokowi said in a statement to the press at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta, Monday (07/03).

The President also asked the Minister to fulfill the summons and to provide explanations and clarifications.

“All of us should respect the legal process by fulfilling the summon from either the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) or from the prosecutor’s office to provide explanations and clarifications,” the President remarked. (BPMI SETPRES/UN) (EST/EP)
