AMANAH Youth Creative Hub Supports Acehnese Youth to Boost Innovation

During a working visit on Tuesday (10/15), President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo extended his appreciation for the innovative programs run by the AMANAH Youth Creative Hub. This Creative Hub has brought significant impact to the young people of Aceh.

Faris Albar, a mural artist, illustrator and a participant of the program, said that he was very proud to be able to show his work to President Jokowi.

Another participant, Purnama Sari, proudly showed her Acehnese embroidery work. Purnama also told how the AMANAH had opened up opportunities for her to join the biggest fashion show in Indonesia, MUFFEST.

Alhamdulillah, after joining AMANAH program, my embroidery creations can be displayed in MUFFEST, the biggest fashion show in Indonesia. I am very grateful to President Jokowi and Head of State Intelligence Agency (BIN) who have supported us,” Purnama Sari said.

In the meantime, Al Yafi, who develops various innovative applications, shared his joy after meeting President Jokowi. Al Yafi said that he has developed several applications, including AI-based lung disease detection application, an application for breast cancer screening, and other applications that focus on education and the environmental issues.

“We are grateful because AMANAH has helped us to create innovations, and cultivate ideas from Acehnese youth,” Al Yafi said.

At the AMANAH Coffee Lab, Hudaya Thariq shared similar joy because he received facilities that could develop his business and skills. Hudaya also invited young people in Aceh to make the best use of AMANAH so that they can access the global market

“This is something that we previously only dare to dream of, but today it already exists in Aceh. I extend my appreciation to the President and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) who have provided AMANAH to young people in Aceh,” Hudaya said.

For the record, the AMANAH Youth Creative Hub provides platform for young people in Aceh to enhance their creativity, expand networks, and show their work to the world, with support from the Government and from the President. (BPMI Setpres/DNS) (RI/MMB)
