Arriving in Singapore, President Jokowi Direct Meets with President Tony Tan and PM Lee Hsien Liong

President Jokowi accompanied by several ministers met President of Singapore Tony Tan Tan Keng Yam, at the Presidential Palace in Singapore, Tuesday (28/7) afternoon

Venturing into state visit to Singapore, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady as well as the entourage of ministers visited the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Singapore on Tuesday (28/7) afternoon.

Arrived at the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Singapore at 11:30 WS (the difference time between Singapore and Jakarta + 1 hour), President of the Republic of Indonesia and First Lady Hj. Iriana Joko Widodo welcomed by the President of the Republic of Singapore,  Tony Tan Keng Yam and his wife, Mary Chee Bee Kiang, on the terrace of the Presidential Palace.

Furthermore, President Jokowi, was greeted with reverence weapons by rows of honor followed by the echoed of national anthem of Indonesia Raya and the national anthem of Singapore.

Then, President Joko Widodo signed the guest book in the lobby of the palace, followed by a closed meeting with limited delegations in West Drawing Room, Presidential Palace Singapore.

After meeting with President Tony Tan Keng Yam, President Jokowi held a bilateral meeting with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Prime Minister’s Office.

Accompany the President and First Lady in the state visit namely, Coordinating Minister for Economy Sofyan Djalil, Cabinet Secretary Andi Widjajanto, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Trade Rachmat Gobel, Minister of PAN-RB Yuddy Chrisnandi, and the Minister of Finance Bambang Brodjonegoro.
