Minister of Youth and Sport Imam Nahwari on Friday (14/9) held a meeting discussing transfer of assets from the Indonesian Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) to the Indonesian Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (INAPGOC).

During the meeting, the Minister said that Asian Games and the Asian Para Games events are state events that use the state budget, and his Minister are budget users in both events.

“Today, we need to transfer assets from the INASGOC to the INAPGOC. The transfer should be done immediately because the Asian Para Games is drawing near. I think both parties have already understood the coordination process. In case we need to review technical guidelines, it should be done immediately,” he said.

Meanwhile Chairman of the Indonesian Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (INAPGOC) Raja Sapta Oktohari said that he already coordinated with all Ministries/Institution, especially with INASGOC and explained that he tried his best in synchronizing with the tools used during Asian Games. “Today we ask the Minister to do the final synchronization with the INASGOC so that the tools used during Asian Games can be used during the Asian Para Games,” he said.

In the meantime, Secretary General of INASGOC Eris Herryanto said that according to the Chairman’s direction, INASGOC needs to assist INAPGOC. “INASGOC will lend assistance in hosting the Asian Para Games. At the Opening Ceremony I met Chairman of the Indonesian Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (INAPGOC)  and I asked the list of tools that are going to be used during the Asian Para Games and we’ve already coordinated with the INASGOC, the INAPGOC, and related institutions.

“Based on the last coordination meeting that we reported today, there are three requests made by the INAPGOC for the Opening Ceremony, for example using tent for the dining hall and the kitchen and the use of state properties. But after reviewing the list, 20 items were bound by a conduct. But we will quickly resolve the problem with our vendor,” he explained.
