Bali Presents a Positive Image of Indonesia, President Jokowi Says
When starting a Limited Meeting on Evaluation of the Implementation of National Strategic Projects and Priority Programs of Bali Province at the Presidential Office, on Wednesday (14/6) afternoon, President Joko Jokowi Widodo said that Bali has a unique strength which other provinces do not have. This strength is the capacity to drive the economy by using other sectorbesides natural resources.
It is tourism sector and creative industry that drive the economy, the President said. Thanks to these sectors, Bali Island has presented a positive image of Indonesia. Foreign tourists are more familiar with Bali than Indonesia.
However, the President said that the momentum of growth of these two sectors must be well-maintained. Thus, it will bring a significant impact for the prosperity of Balinese people and also the advancement of Bali Province.
