BPK Delivers Audit Reports to President Jokowi

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Friday (06/03) received the Audit Report and the Summary of Audit Report for the second semester of 2021 from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

On that occasion, the President said that he would follow up on the recommendations from the BPK audit reports.

“The President expressed his appreciation for the results of the audit reports and said that he would immediately follow up on the recommendations of the BPK’s audit,” Chairperson of the BPK Isma Yatun said in a press conference after the meeting.

Isma said that the recommendations highlighted at the meeting including strengthening the economy and human resources.

“We also underscored important matters in the Central Government as well as in regional Governments, including natural resources, fiscal independence as well as food sector,” Isma said.

Isma went on to say that the recommendations submitted by the BPK were in the interests of the Indonesian people prosperity.

“We hope that the results of the BPK’s recommendations can be followed up by the Government and can benefit all people in Indonesia,” Isma remarked.

Also present during the meeting were Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Vice Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara, Vice Chairperson of the BPK Agus Joko Pramono and board members of the BPK Nyoman Adhi Suryadnyana, Daniel Lumban Tobing, Haerul Saleh, and Hendra Susanto.
