Budget Realization of National Economic Recovery Program Reaches Rp318.5 T
Budget realization of the National Economic Recovery budget (PEN) as of September 2020 has risen to Rp318.5 trillion from the allocated ceiling of Rp695.2 trillion, Chairperson of the National Economic Recovery Task Force Budi Gunadi Sadikin has announced.
According to Budi, the distribution of the PEN assistance has increased quite significantly towards the end of the fourth quarter.
“In July, we distributed Rp117.39 trillion of assistance and the amount rose to Rp268.49 trillion in two months,” Budi said, adding that the largest increase in distribution assistance is in the social protection program and the MSMEs program.
From July until September, Budi continued, budget realization for the social protection program has reached 77.01 percent.
In more detail, the distribution in July amounted to Rp77.58 trillion, while in September it stood at Rp157.03 trillion from the allocated ceiling of Rp203.90 trillion.
Furthermore, budget realization of the MSMEs program from the allocated ceiling of Rp123.47 trillion accounted for 68.72 percent.
The distribution in July amounted to Rp32.51 trillion, while in September it was Rp84.85 trillion.
As for budget realization at ministries/agencies and local governments’ sectoral programs, the assistance distribution stood at 25.08 percent from the allocated ceiling of Rp106.11 trillion. In July and September, the amount assistance distributed reached Rp7.30 trillion and Rp26.62 trillion respectively.
However, the assistance for corporate financing program has not yet distributed from the allocated ceiling of Rp53.60 trillion, Budi said.
The assistance, he added, will be distributed on a large scale in the fourth quarter.
