Cabinet Secretariat Committed to Providing Best Service to Gov’t Translators, Interpreters

Cabinet Secretariat’s Center for Government Translator and Interpreter Development (Pusbinter) is committed to providing the best services for Government translators and interpreters.

The commitment is stated in the Document of Commitment for Development of Government Translators and Interpreters signed in Jakarta, Monday (10/24).

Head of the Pusbinter Sri Wahyu Utami signed the document, witnessed by Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs Farid Utomo.

“I hope that all personnel of the Pusbinter can do more to provide better services for all of us,” Farid said.

The minutes of the document signing ceremony were signed by 12 representatives of the relevant stakeholders, namely from Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms; The National Civil Service Agency (BKN); Ministry of Law and Human Rights; Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology; Ministry of Communications and Informatics; Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources; Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Agency for Tourism and Creative Economy; Secretariat General of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI); Association of Indonesian Government Translators and Interpreters (IPPI); Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries; The National Counter-terrorism Agency (BNPT), and the Riau Provincial Government.

In the meantime, Assistant Deputy for Work Design and Human Capital Planning and Acquisition of Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms Aba Subagja, who also signed the minutes, applauded the Pusbinter’s commitment to provide the best services for Government translators and interpreters.

Aba further said that he encourages functional position supervisory agencies to provide online learning content that can be accessed anytime. (RF/UN) (RI/MMB)
