The program is held online for 10 days from April 29 to May 15, 2024.

“Every translator is required to attend functional position training, which includes various technical training compatible with the needs of each agency to improve the competency of translators,” Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Administrative Affairs Farid Utomo said in his written remarks, Monday (04/29).

“Cabinet Secretariat, as the fostering agency for functional translator positions, is committed to continuously providing comprehensive guidance to translators, be it by providing various technical education and training, sending them to international events, and cooperating with ministries, foreign embassies, and international organizations,” he remarked.

For the record, the training is attended by 25 participants from the National Narcotics Board (BNN), the National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT), the Attorney General’s Office, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, the Ministry of the Environment and Forestry, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of Enrekang Regency, Government of Karawang Regency, Government of Pangkal Pinang City, Government of Semarang City, Government of West Kalimantan Province, Secretariat General of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR), and the National Resilience Institute.
