Cabinet Secretariat and Ministry of Government Legislation (MoLeg) of the Republic of Korea once again virtually held a working-level seminar on Wednesday (02/23) adopting the theme “Knowledge Learning on the Republic of Korea’s Legal System and Legislation”.

“My highest appreciation, especially to Ministry of Government Legislation of the Republic of Korea which has initiated the working-level seminar today. This seminar is very beneficial for learning process and knowledge development of staff within the Cabinet Secretariat,” Assistant to the Deputy Cabinet Secretary for International Relations Johar Arifin said.

To facilitate the learning process, MoLeg in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Public Administration (KIPA) has published an e-book which is compelemented by two learning videos, designed especially for Indonesian civil servants. Johar stated that they have studied the materials sent by MoLeg.

“Cabinet Secretariat expresses its gratitude for the book which is very beneficial in helping us learning about the legal system in the Republic of Korea,” he said.

Johar expressed hope that in the discussion, several questions can be discussed regarding the legislation system of the Republic of Korea which has been sent previously by Cabinet Secretariat to MoLeg. He also expressed hope that the participants can gain a lot of knowledge about the Republic of Korea’s legislative system.

This meeting, he added, is also expected to improve bilateral relations between the two countries. (FID/UN) (FI/MUR)
