In a bid to follow up studies on laws and regulations considered detrimental to investment and export, the Office of Deputy Cabinet Secretary for the Economy held a coordinating meeting at Alana Hotel, Bogor, West Java, Wednesday (14/8).

Deputy Cabinet Secretary for the Economy Satya Bhakti Parikesit who led the meeting expressed hope that this meeting could result in recommendation and suggestion about laws and regulations that exert direct effect on investment and export performances.

“The studies which adopted regulatory impact assessment approach cover the aspects of investment, trade, finance, and infrastructure,” Bhakti said.

The Deputy added that that his office has managed to identify 17 out of 59 laws to be proposed for deregulation. (HIM/FID/ES)
