Cabinet Secretariat Revises Nomenclatures

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung asserted that Cabinet Secretariat has new strategic duties and authorities which are stated in Presidential Regulation Number 55 of 2020.

Among that duties, the Cabinet Secretariat has a task to review all ministerial/institutional regulations.

“You must do your best to fulfil the duties. Get more involved because the governance in the Cabinet Secretariat or in the Cabinet depends on you,” Pramono said at the ceremony of changing of Cabinet Secretariat’s nomenclature, at the Cabinet Secretary’s Meeting Room, Ministry of State Secretariat, Jakarta, Friday (25/9).

He went on to say that as the budget allocated for Cabinet Secretariat for 2021 increases, the responsibility of the employees must increase as well. He called on all state apparatus at Cabinet Secretariat to show extraordinary performance.

On that occasion, Pramono also thanked all Cabinet Secretariat’s state apparatus who have worked hard so that the institution received unqualified opinion (WTP) grade from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) for 8 consecutive years. He added that this achievement must be maintained.

For the record, the changing in Cabinet Secretariat’s nomenclatures is stipulated in Presidential Decree Number 129/TPA of 2020, Cabinet Secretary’s Decree Number 75 of 2020, Number 84 of 2020, Number 85 of 2020, and Number 86 of 2020.

After the Decree is recited, the state apparatus took the oath before Cabinet Secretary and followed by the signing of the minutes of inauguration. (FID/EN)
