Cabinet Secretariat’s DWP Advisor Attends 2023 Kriyanusa Crafts Exhibition
Advisor to the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (Organization of Civil Servants’ Wives) of Cabinet Secretariat Endang Nugrahani Pramono Anung Wednesday (09/13) expressed appreciation for handicraft products from regions across the country.
“Indonesian craftsmen’s skills and products quality are getting better. I hope they can maintain the quality in the future, especially in color composition,” Nugrahani said after attending the opening of 2023 Kriyanusa Crafts Exhibition, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta.
According to the Advisor, the exhibition always introduces new innovations from Indonesian craftsmen.
“As a member of the National Crafts Council, I always look forward to the exhibition attended by all provinces in Indonesia for it serves as an opportunity for each province to showcase their crafts,” she said, adding that the Council also supports local craftsmen through various training and development programs.
In the meantime, Chair of the 2023 Kriyanusa Crafts Exhibition Committee Sri Suparni Bahlil said that the exhibition, which will be held on 13-17 September, is one of the Council’s efforts to develop capacity of craft business actors.
“The exhibition aims to encourage the creation and development of local craft products while preserving the cultural image of all regions in Indonesia,” Sri said.
For the record, the 2023 Kriyanusa Crafts Exhibition showcases 307 stands from the provincial, regency/municipality, and ministries/institutions of Regional Crafts Council. During the exhibition opening, Jakarta Regional Crafts Council also presented dance and song performances as well as Indonesian-themed fashion show. (DID/JW/UN) (GWH/MUR)
