Cabinet Secretariat’s DWP Hands Over Education Scholarships

Dharma Wanita Persatuan (Organization of Civil Servants’ Wives) of Cabinet Secretariat handed over education scholarships for children of employees and retirees within Cabinet Secretariat this year.

The 2021 scholarships are given to 65 students consisting of 39 elementary students, 16 junior high school students, and 10 senior high school students.

“Every year, the DWP provides scholarships. This year, thank God, the DWP is able to provide scholarships to 65 students with a total of Rp107.3 million,” Advisor of Cabinet Secretariat’s DWP Endang Nugrahani Pramono Anung said virtually on Friday (03/09).

The Advisor expressed hope that the scholarships can help the students to pursue their education and achieve their dreams.

On this occasion, the Advisor also expressed appreciation for the support from the benefactors and the management of the DWP so that this event can be organized properly. “I’d like to express my utmost gratitude to state-owned bank BNI for its second donation. I’d also like to thank echelon 1 and echelon 2 officials of Cabinet Secretariat who also participated in the donation,” she said.

She also reminded the participants of the event to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moreover, Chairperson of the DWP of Cabinet Secretariat Kartini Yuli Harsono also expressed hope that the scholarship can support the students to achieve their dreams. (FID/UN) (FI/MUR)
