Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung Friday (01/12) attended the Christmas celebration of presidential institution’s Ecumenical Fellowship at Krida Bakti building, Jakarta.

“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope this year’s Christmas will bring blessings to all of us, especially to all of you here, to get better fortune and full of blessings,” Pramono said.

Pramono also expressed appreciation for the inter-religious harmony within the presidential institution. “In such environment that helps the President and Vice President, there are almost never any issues related to religion. That is our strength,” he added.

With regard to the upcoming election this year, Pramono reiterated all officials and staffs within presidential institution to remain professional and not get involved in political affairs.

“I am a political figure but you all don’t need to get involved. Please continue to work in a professional manner to provide the best service to the President and Vice President,” Pramono remarked.

For the record, the Christmas celebration event was attended by around 600 people consisting of officials and staffs within the presidential institution. (TGH/UN) (GWH/MUR)
