Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung attended virtual ceremony of the Commemoration of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia solemnly from his residence, Jakarta, Monday (17/8). On this occasion, Pramono Anung wore traditional attire from the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY).

According to him, all citizens must join hands to create an advanced, prosperous, and respected Indonesia.

“Happy 75th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence. Long live Indonesia. Let us join hands and work together so our beloved country will be a developed and prosperous country, and a country that is respected by the world,” Pramono said.

For the record, the procession of the Commemoration of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia was held by implementing strict health protocols. Besides wearing masks and maintaining a safe distance, the attendees and ceremony officers also took medical tests prior to the ceremony.

In the meantime, former Presidents and Vice Presidents attended the ceremony virtually from their respective residences. (EN)
