On the 2022 National Teachers’ Day, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung congratulated Indonesian teachers for their dedication.

“Happy National Teachers’ Day to my fellow teachers across Indonesia! Keep up the good work. Keep up the good work. Keep serving the nation and country,” Pramono said Wednesday (11/25).

The success of national development policies and programs in education is largely determined by the participation and contribution of teachers as educators and instructors.

He also stated that the Government’s Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn) program has provided space for teachers to participate and contribute more.

“The Merdeka Belajar program provides space and opportunities for teachers to innovate during the teaching and learning process to make the students have more creativity, have more independence, and can globally compete,” he said, adding that the teacher’s central role in educating the students is vital for the future of the country.
