Cabinet Secretary Extends Mother’s Day Greetings

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has wished Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and women in Indonesia.

“I would like to wish Happy Mother’s Day to all empowered women and for the advancement of Indonesia,” said Pramono in a statement on Tuesday (22/12).

He said that mothers, with love and selflessness, have raised and educated their children to be better persons.

“Mother, for me personally, is also the source of the world’s life. Mother has done a lot of things for us,” he added.

In the current pandemic era, he continued, mothers have a dual role, not only mastering household management but also being teachers as their children are learning from home.

On this Mother’s Day commemoration, Pramono also thanked the mothers who have brought life for all and serve as the source of life for the world.

“To all mothers, we are grateful. Thanks to you, this nation has become a strong and great nation.You have made us strong,” he said. (MAY/UN) (EST/LW)
