Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung handed over the 2023 Cabinet Secretariat Budget Implementation List (DIPA) to Deputy for Administrative Affairs of Cabinet Secretariat Farid Utomo as Budget User Authority (KPA) at Building III of Ministry of State Secretariat, Jakarta, Tuesday (1/17).

In his remarks, Pramono asked his staff to use the allocated budget to provide optimal services to the President and Vice President in managing the Government Cabinet.

“It is not easy to collect this amount of money. It comes from the efforts of all Indonesian people. For that, I specifically want and hope that the 2023 DIPA can really use for the advancement of the Cabinet Secretariat and also for providing services to the President and the Vice President,” he said.

In 2023 the Cabinet Secretariat receives a budget allocation of Rp352 billion, which then revised to Rp324 billion after automatic adjustments.

Pramono also reminded his staff to continue working professionally and not to get involved in practical politics, especially in the political year ahead of the 2024 Simultaneous General Elections.

“In 2023 we start a political year. As a leader, I hope that you will not be carried away by this atmosphere. Keep working in a professional manner and do not join any political movements,” he said. (TGH/UN) (EST/EP)
