Indonesia will move towards a better and more developed country after the pandemic ends, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has said.

According to Pramono, Indonesia, together with other 215 countries worldwide, are currently facing the COVID-19 pandemic. This challenge, he continued, can serve as an opportunity for the country to bring a major reform and take a great leap.

He went on to say that Indonesia has all conditions to become a developed country, namely strong, superior, tough, and educated human capital, abundant natural resources, growing democratic system, and political stability.

Those conditions, Pramono added, have brought optimism that Indonesia will become a greater country even after the pandemic. “I believe our country will be an advanced country,” he said. (RFS/EN)
