Sekretaris Kabinet Teddy Indra Wijaya meninjau langsung pengelolaan puncak arus balik Lebaran 2026 di Terminal Terpadu Pulo Gebang, Cakung, Jakarta.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya directly inspects the management of the peak of mudik return flow during the 2026 Eid al-Fitri celebration period, at the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, Cakung, Jakarta, Wednesday (03/25).

The Government ensures that public movement during the 2026 Eid al-Fitri mudik (annual exodus ahead of the Eid) return flow remains safe, smooth, and comfortable.

Together with Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya reviewed the management of the peak of mudik return flow during the 2026 Eid celebration period, at the Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, Cakung, Jakarta, on Wednesday (03/25) from 01:00 to 02:00 a.m. Western Indonesia Time.

“At 1 a.m., I was invited by the Minister of Transportation to check the peak of mudik return traffic at Pulo Gebang Terminal. Alhamdulillah, after directly asking the passengers on the buses, they said the journey was smooth and comfortable. We also greeted them, shook hands, and took some photos to make the passengers happy,” said Teddy, as quoted from the official social media.

For this year’s Eid, the Government continues to strive to ensure that mudik and return flow management is better than that of the previous year, which also went very well. These efforts are supported by strong synergy among various parties in managing the high mobility of the public during the Eid period.

“Of course, this is supported by strong synergy between the Ministry of Transportation, the National Police, regional governments, and all related agencies in managing the high mobility of the public,” stated the caption on the official social media.

In addition, the Government has prepared several anticipatory measures to address the potential second wave of the return flow expected to take place on March 28–29. These measures include traffic engineering such as situational one-way systems, rest area arrangements, restrictions on goods transport vehicles, as well as toll discount policies and the provision of thousands of mudik buses that can be used free of charge by the public.

These measures affirm the state’s presence in ensuring that public travel proceeds safely and comfortably to their final destinations.

Through meticulous planning, solid coordination, and rapid on-site responses, the Government is committed to keeping the 2026 Eid mudik return flow momentum under control and providing peace of mind for the public returning to their activities. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (EST/TM)
