Cabinet Secretary Offers New Year’s Wishes

Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung has offered New Year’s wishes, expressing hope that the New Year will bring joy, peace and happiness to the Indonesian people.

“The most important thing is that Indonesia becomes more developed, more competitive and more respected in the world stage,” Pramono said during an interview conducted at the end of last year in Jakarta, adding that he wishes everyone a better life in 2020.

In the meantime, Presidential Spokesperson Fadjroel Rahman in his Twitter account @FadjroeL quoted President Jokowi’s New Year wishes.

“Alhamdulillah, Thank God today is 1 January, 2020. Happy New Year,” the President said while expressing his gratitude to God for 2019.

“In 2020, we should make better efforts to achieve #IndonesiaMaju (a developed Indonesia),” the President said. (RSF/RAH/ES)
