Cabinet Secretary: President Prabowo Delivers Briefing to Participants of 2026 Presidential Future Leaders Program

President Prabowo Subianto Sunday (06/24) delivered briefing to participants of the 2026 Presidential Future Leaders Program (PFLP) in Hambalang, Bogor regency, West Java province. In his written statement, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya noted that the program was personally designed by President Prabowo to groom the future leaders of state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

“This program is personally designed by the President to groom future leaders of state-owned enterprises,” wrote the Cabinet Secretary.

Cabinet Secretary highlighted that [there were] 400 participants attending the program’s inaugural cohort as part of the Government’s efforts to strengthen leadership quality within the SOE sector.

“The PFLP is intended to support President Prabowo’s vision of establishing good corporate governance within SOEs by empowering human resources who possess the ‘best hearts and minds’,” Teddy stated.

According to the Cabinet Secretary, the educational program will run for nine months and is divided into three main phases, beginning with character and discipline building on the first three months.

“The nine-month educational program is divided into three phases, [starting with] character and discipline building for [the first] three months,” Teddy wrote.

Furthermore, Cabinet Secretary Teddy explained that the participants will undergo managerial and decision-making skill development at Danantara Corporate University for four months before entering the internship program.

“[The participants will further undergo] managerial and decision-making skill development at Danantara Corporate University for four months, followed by two-month internship within ministries, institutions, or SOE sectors,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy continued.

In addition, Cabinet Secretary emphasized that the program is part of the Government’s grand strategy to prepare highly qualified human resources to lead SOEs in the future.
